Lauri Curtis Hadobas was elected as Camp Fire First Texas’ new chairman of the board at the 2014 Annual Meeting that took place on January 29, 2015 at the First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth. With a new board president also came a new slate of officers: Vice Chair of Administration, Bill McCoy; Vice Chair of Financial Development, Jerri O. Akers; Vice Chair of Planning: Jake Yarbrough; Treasurer: Jenene Schaffer; and Secretary: George W. Bean, Jr.

New board members elected to a three-year term were: Monica Balbo, Jennifer Black, Jennifer Garcia, Thomas Hook, Winjie Miao, – Randi Mitchell, and Andrew Ward. They join returning board members: Heidi Coombs, Kimberly DeWoody, Dolores Garza, Marilyn Gilbert, Michele Hahnfeld, Nancy Hooper, Edward C. Lange, Brant Martin, Tod Miller, John Molyneaux, Cheryl Moore, Brit Phillips, Judd Pritchard, Evelyn Richardson, Roland Schafer, Chuck Sheridan, Linda Springer, John Strong, Lynda Tiedtke, Jared Vitemb, Kelli Walter, Kay West and Lori West.

Seven community partners were recognized during the luncheon program for their support during the organization’s year-long centennial celebration in 2014. Community partners recognized included: The City of Fort Worth Parks and Community Services Department, Streams and Valleys, Global Prairie, Clear Channel Outdoor, Lone Star Parade Floats, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the Gulick Family, founders of the Camp Fire organization.
