Camp Fire After School program that serves the Aledo ISD will join America as they turn the “Lights on Afterschool” on October 23 with an open house and pumpkin decorating at the Stuard elementary after school program location.
The 15th Annual Nationwide Rally for Afterschool Programs, “Lights on Afterschool” is organized by the Afterschool Alliance, a non-profit public awareness and advocacy organization working to ensure that all children and youth have access to quality after school programs. After school programs help keep children safe, inspire them to learn and help working families.Last year, a million people participated in more than 8,000 people participated in the event.
