Camping weekends are opportunities for grown-ups, families and friends to spend one to three day creating special camp memories!

From stories around the campfire and outdoor activities to beautiful cabin lodging, delicious meals and all the special “extras”, you’ll find the perfect blend of comfort and adventure at El Tesoro camping weekends.

You are never too old to go to camp!

Two Cabin & Activity Groups

Families (An adult with any child under 18 years old)
Grown Ups (Single adults or couples without children or children that are 18 years +)

These activities will be offered in tracks for Families and Grown Ups.

Grown Ups Activities (adults only)

Full weekend schedule will be available in three weeks before the event.

  • campers cooking outdoors
  • campers getting instruction at archery range
  • adults wearing helmets and harnesses ready for the challenge course
  • children doing art project outdoors
  • father and son roasting marshmallows over campfire

Meals & cabin lodging included**

Have you ever eaten out of a canoe? Well, this weekend is your chance. Each freshly prepared home-style meal is accompanied by a fully stocked salad and fruit bar. The canoe salad bar (really! It’s a canoe!) features seasonal fruits, yogurt and a variety of salads from green leaf to pasta. Other specialty meals will be featured based on age and activity track. See schedule for details.

 

Lodging details

Each cabin sleeps 12 people. If your group does not fill a cabin, you will be bunked with others of a similar family dynamic, gender or age make up. Please indicate when registering your housing preference (see below). We will do our best to accommodate your requests. All cabins are accessible.

Prices are per person.
Fees apply to ages 5 and up.
All children/youth must be accompanied by an adult.

Check in Friday from 7-9 p.m.;
Saturday 8:30-10:30 a.m..
Activity sign-up begins at 8 a.m. each day.

Camp Fire Camp El Tesoro is situated on 223-acres where the Brazos River and Fall Creek meet. The camp has welcomed more than four generations of campers over 80+ years.
