Michael Neill
Maintenance Manager
Michael Neill serves as the Maintenance Manager for Camp Fire Camp El Tesoro. He began his role at the camp in 2019. He is responsible for maintaining the grounds, tools, facilities and overall landscape duties at the 223-acre property. Prior to taking on this role at Camp Fire, Michael served 24 years in the US Army and retired Sargent First Class (SFC) and was awarded a Bronze Star.
He does his best work away from a desk where he can set and follow priorities as needed making the position at camp a perfect fit for him and the fact the team feels like an extension of family is a welcomed bonus. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in leadership from Excelsior College in Albany, NY.
He lives in Granbury with his wife.
