Free Community Event for Children of All Ages

October 27 | 8:30 – 11:00 am

Walsh Makerspace Yard
13756 Assembly Park Drive, Fort Worth, 76008

Camp Fire is hosting a Day of Play where youth can build games, contraptions, inventions. . . . ANYTHING from cardboard and can showcase it.

The Cardboard Challenge Day of Play is a movement that stokes the imagination and creativity of children young and old. It is also a time to gather families and communities to marvel at how a box can be transformed through the mind of a child.

The original Caine's Arcade video captured the support and imagination of celebrities and families alike.

Everyone in the community is invited to participate regardless of which school they attend. It is FREE and supplies will be available at the event for those children who don't have time to build before they arrive.

Build ahead and bring a finalized cardboard creation or come and build on-site.

To add to the fun, guest judges will recognize the handiwork of each child in silly categories:

• Most Tape
• Wow, What Is That?!
• Craziest Game
• Tallest
• Most Interactive
• Judges' Choice
• Kids' Choice

Judging begins at 10:00 a.m.
