Fort Worth, TX (August 29, 2014) – Camp Fire’s annual fundraising gala selected 84 artists to be featured in this year’s art auction. The total estimated value of the pieces submitted for this year’s auction is more than $52,000.

“Each year it is difficult to narrow down these amazing pieces of artwork and this year was no different. With 150 pieces to choose from, the committee had its work ahead of us,” explained John and Drenda Witt, event chairs.

Artwork is submitted as a donation to the event. Upon the sale of the piece, proceeds will directly benefit Camp Fire’s programs that prepare children throughout North Texas for school, help them develop life-long leadership skills, and teach them to respect and enjoy the outdoors. In addition a portion of proceeds will benefit the Emergency Artist Support League (EASL).

While art is the main attraction, this exciting evening also features a seated dinner, dancing, luxury packages and prizes, and much more. The event provides an opportunity for patrons to socialize and expand their collection all while supporting our community’s youth.
The full list of artists is available now at CampFireFW.org. Pre-bidding and ‘buy it now’ will be available in September.
An Artists’ Christmas Gala and Art Auction will be held at The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel on Saturday, November 15, 2014. More information is available online at AnArtistsChristmas.org. A special celebrity bartending night will preceed the event on September 22 at GRACE.
