Spring Break Day Camp – Diamond Hill Station
Camp Fire Diamond Hill Station
Keeping it fresh!
This week we are keeping it fresh as campers will explore the wide world of cooking.
We’ll be planting and cooking up some fun. Campers will learn how to plan a garden, then get busy planting their own seedlings in our garden. We’ll introduce simple, kid friendly recipes and enjoy cooking demonstrations with a scientific edge.
Here is what the week has in store:
- Garden design, food and flower planting
- Build an “Eat your colors” fruit salad
- Make a delicious no-bake dessert
- Create personal pizzas with home-grown garden veggies and other delicious toppings
- Chef Manny will demonstrate the science in cooking
- Plus, we’ll pepper in interactive games, crafts, and even some light yoga and tumbling to keep active!
Don’t miss this opportunity. Drop in and Weekly rates available!
The fun begins each day at 7 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
Breakfast, Lunch and Snack are provided.
Our trained staff make the difference. Staff receive ongoing training in youth development and the Thrive methodology. This helps each child learn to thrive by allowing them to explore their personal interests, make healthy choices, develop social skills and have fun. Camp Fire programs offer an environment where youth can learn through active exploration and interaction of program staff trained to observe and engage youth to support, extend and clarify learning.
