While we can’t be together in-person this summer, Camp El Tesoro Staff, Counselors In Training (CITs) and other guests will be sharing weekly camp-at-home activities spotlighting a different theme each week.

Social Connection
How has attending camp helped you make and build friendships?This week kick off your summer connecting with friends from camp or school. Pick up the phone and send a fun text or make a call. If you have a social media account, give that friend a virtual shout out by tagging them and sharing a special memory or photo.
Activity #1 – Find a Friendship Rock
Take a walk outside and be on the look out for a friendship rock (a rock with a hole through it). Once you find it, snap a picture and share it by tagging #CampElTesoro or @CampElTesoro on your social pages and of course the person YOU would want to give your Friendship Rock to.
Activity #2 – Make a Friendship Bracelet for a Friend (or two).
Learn to make a Friendship Bracelet this week. After you’ve made it, send it to your friend along with a letter, or give them a call and share some memories about your time together at camp.
