Camp Classic Trail Run

Be a part of our first annual trail run as Camp El Tesoro in Granbury kicks off a new year with a new run to support youth in North Texas.

This 5K & 10K fundraising run leads runners through a beautifully diverse course. From woods to prairies and even creek-side paths, experience all camp has to offer.

Race walk ups for welcome.
Walkers and Runners

5K Race* - $25 per person

10K Race - $35 per person

Kids 1K Fun Run* - Free

Dinner with Chef Jon Bonnell - $25 per person

Overnight Camp Stay - $25 per person

Dinner & Overnight deadline January 18.

First 150 paid runners will receive a race t-shirt. Timed by Race Day Event Services.
No pets are allowed at camp. No alcohol or smoking is allowed.

Gourmet Meal prepared by Chef Jon Bonnell, the owner of Bonnell’s Fine Texas Cuisine and Waters Restaurant to be shared in front of the roaring fire place in WoHeLo Lodge.

Cozy Cabin overnight: Racers and their supporters also have the option to staying the night before the race in a beautiful El Tesoro cabin. Check in for cabin lodging is from 4 – 7 p.m. A light breakfast will be served the day of race.

Awards:

After the work, comes the rewards and Awards Ceremony at Revolver Brewing. Awards will be given to Overall Male and Female and a Master (40 and up) Overall Male and Female for both the 5K & 10K, including $100 Athleta gift cards. There will also be awards for top male and female in each age category.

Whether you choose to make a weekend of it or join for the day of the race, this event will surely rise to the top of your January race calendar as a “must-do” year after year.

Schedule:

Friday, January 25

4 – 7 p.m. Check in at camp for overnight and/or gourmet meal

7 p.m. Gourmet meal begins at WoHeLo Lodge

Saturday, January 26

6:30 a.m. Packet pick up begins

8:30 a.m. Free Kids 1K Fun Run*

9 a.m.  5K & 10K race

9 – 11 a.m. Archery games for spectators & racers

11 a.m. Awards Ceremony at Revolver Brewing – Free Pint Glass


 

Lodging Details:

Each cabin sleeps 12 people. If your group does not fill a cabin, you will be bunked with others of a similar group dynamic, gender or age make up. Please indicate when registering your housing preference (see below). We will do our best to accommodate your requests. All cabins are accessible.
