Executive Administrative Assistant
Elia Whitworth serves as Executive Administrative Assistant at Camp Fire First Texas.
She joined the organization in September 2021, and she is thrilled to be a part of the many programs that the organization offers. Elia has over 12 years of experience working in public schools, where she supported students and parents through ESL programs and served as a Spanish translator. Later, she transitioned to higher education and supported executive-level teams at Brite Divinity School and the Neely School of Business.
Elia’s diverse experience has equipped her to support the President/CEO and other teams effectively. She loves working with people and enjoys interacting with staff members in their various roles.
When Elia is not at work, she enjoys attending college football games, traveling, camping by the lake, and going on wine tours. Cooking and creating new recipes is another passion of hers. She loves the outdoors and gardening, and her favorite dessert is chocolate cake.
She is a proud mom of two sons and one daughter, adoring grandma of three grandchildren, and loving dog mom of 13-year-old Shih Tzu, Gracie.
Before joining Camp Fire First Texas, Elia didn’t know much about the organization. However, she is glad that she made the choice to work here, and we are delighted to have her on board!
