Danita White joined Camp Fire First Texas as the Multimedia Storyteller in May 2022. In her role, she creatively shares the experiences from Camp Fire programs, training, and events across the organization’s multiple communications platforms and social channels. Seeing children supported and succeeding, as well as being in the great outdoors, are two of her passions. These, combined with her social media experience, created a natural fit for the role.
For the past ten years, she has worked as an independent social media manager creating and implementing strategy and content for numerous brands and organizations in the nonprofit, martech, and food and beverage sectors. Her specialty is content writing and editing, online community building, and graphic design.
Danita will support young people and the communities that Camp Fire First Texas serves by sharing the organization’s history, purpose, and processes in creative ways that introduce more audiences to the organization and amplify the message. She hopes the community and parents will see the stories that are being written through the lens of camps, training, teen programs and out-of-school time to create a long-lasting connection and impact.
She has a Bachelor of Science in religion and an MBA, both from Liberty University.
