ALRIC ARNETT

Teens in Action Program Director

Alric Arnett serves as Teens in Action Program Director at Camp Fire First Texas, bringing a passion for youth development and community impact to his role.

Alric grew up in Belle Glade, Florida, where he was the youngest of nine siblings. During high school, he excelled in football, basketball, and track, which earned him an athletic scholarship to West Virginia University. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Education, Alric’s success grabbed the attention of NFL scouts, and he went on to play wide receiver for the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions.

But it wasn’t just his athletic accomplishments that shaped him. Alric witnessed the impact his brother had as a Director for Boys & Girls Clubs and now as School Resource Officer. He saw firsthand the relationships built and the positive difference made in the lives of youth.

Before joining Camp Fire, Alric held several teaching and coaching roles at Banyan Treatment Facility and the School District of Palm Beach County. His experiences inspired him to use his talents and knowledge to be an assist to the youth Camp Fire serves daily with Teens in Action. As a listener, Alric enjoys helping youth identify their purpose and interests, and watching them grow and manifest over time.

Alric is married to his wife LaToya, and they have two amazing kids, Jordyn and Aric, as well as a pet Cane Corso named Aulani. When he’s not working, you can find Alric enjoying the beach, hiking, kayaking, or traveling. Niagara Falls is his favorite place, but he loves exploring new destinations and would love to live abroad for a year.
