All proceeds directly benefit Camp Fire’s programs that prepare children throughout the North Texas area for school, help them develop life-long leadership skills and teach them to respect and enjoy the outdoors.

**BENEFITS AND ELIGIBILITY FOR ASPIRING ARTISTS
Aspiring artists are defined as those who have mastered the basic techniques in their art forms, are or have been enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate collegiate program in spring 2019, are early-stage aspiring art professionals, are no older than 25 years of age as of August 1, 2019 and are interested in showing his/her work.
• Two cash awards - $250 for Best 2D art and $250 for Best 3D art
• One complimentary ticket to the gala ($275 value)
• Recognition during the Artists’ Preview on October 17 and at gala on November 16
• Recognition in the event catalog, on the event invitation and on the Camp Fire website
• Only original artwork conceived and created by the entrant will be considered.
• Original two and three-dimensional works in all traditional and non-traditional media are eligible, except video.
• In this category, each piece is limited to no more than 20” horizontally or vertically (in total, including frame) for
2D art and no more than 12”x12”x18” and under 50 pounds for 3D art.
• Camp Fire reserves the right to return material that is not representative of its mission to serve youth, or that is
unsuitable for exhibition and auction. We are unable to accept artwork that includes nudity, violence, or subject
matter of a sexual nature.

ELIGIBILITY/SIZE LIMITATIONSIMPORTANT DATES
• Submission deadline: August 1
• Acceptance notification: August 24
• Delivery of accepted work: August 27 – September 7
• Artists’ Preview and Award Presentation: October 17, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
• Gala and Art Auction: November 16, 6:00 -11:00 p.m.

• Only original artwork conceived and created by the entrant will be considered.
• Original two and three-dimensional works in all traditional and non-traditional media are eligible, except video, in the categories listed above.
• Each piece submitted must be limited to no more than 42” horizontally or vertically (in total, including frame) and under 50 pounds (except for work by Aspiring Artists**).
• Camp Fire reserves the right to return material that is not representative of its mission to serve youth, or that is unsuitable for exhibition and auction. We are unable to accept artwork that includes nudity, violence or subject matter of a sexual nature.

JUDGING
• Entries will be judged based on the submitted digital images.
• Exhibit space is limited; the limits on size will be strictly observed.
• All artwork will be evaluated on quality and originality.

NOTIFICATION
Artists will receive notification by August 24 if their entry has been accepted or not for the juried show.

AGREEMENT
Submission of an entry to this exhibition constitutes an agreement by the entrant to the conditions set forth in this document and for the reproduction of the work for all publicity purposes connected with An Artists’ Christmas. Camp Fire reserves the right to install accepted works in any manner deemed necessary for exhibition or security reasons. Camp Fire First Texas assumes ownership of donated artwork until auctioned or sold unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both Camp Fire and the artist.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
• To be considered, only digital images of the artwork will be accepted.
• Digital images should be submitted online or mailed on a CD or USB drive.
• File must be saved as a high-resolution JPEG (at least 4” wide at 300 dpi).
• Camp Fire is not responsible for the loss, damage, or return of any disks or USB drives submitted.
• Each entry must include an entry form and should be received by August 1.
• Artists may submit up to three works for consideration.
