Camp Fire is my daughter’s favorite part of the day and she is always coming home singing new songs and telling me about all the different activities they did that day. The teachers are very patient and welcoming to my daughter on a daily basis. They have made her transition into Pre-k more enjoyable and easier.

IDEA Afterschool Program Parent

I used to have my kids in other after-care programs, and I can say without doubt that Camp Fire is the best place for my kids. They simply love it. The site directors are great people. They manage the children and they respect them.

Westcliff Afterschool Program Parent

The Camp Fire staff really care about the kids. I appreciate that my child is able to be creative, she loves building things out of cardboard.

Our Staff

Our trained staff make the difference. Staff receive ongoing training in youth development and the Thrive methodology. This helps each child learn to thrive by allowing them to explore their personal interests, make healthy choices, develop social skills and have fun. Camp Fire programs offer an environment where youth can learn through active exploration and interaction of program staff trained to observe and engage youth to support, extend and clarify learning.

Summer and School Break Options

Camp Fire offers affordable day camps where children participate in recreational activities, arts, swimming, nature study and field trips. Day camps are offered June through August and during school breaks.
