Camp Fire El Tesoro de la Vida Benefit Dinner directly supports our week-long grief camp for children which provides an accepting, normalizing camp experience where boys and girls who share the experience of the death of a loved one can cry, play, laugh and heal together.
Many families experience financial burden when they lose a loved one, and more than 50% of the campers in 2023 required financial assistance. We do not turn away children in need.
