Learning Through Leadership
MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR CHILD'S OUT OF SCHOOL TIME AT CAMP FIRE.
We take after school programming to a higher level. While the standard tutoring and homework help is provided, Camp Fire's enrichment activities go above and beyond.
After School Experience At-A-Glance:
Six, Six-Week Trails: Our curriculum, or Trail Time, focuses on developing key skills to build Connections, Purpose, Confidence, Character, Skills and Grit.
Mix of STEM, Arts & Physical Games: Engaging growing brains and muscles with activities to promote citizenship, environmental stewardship and health (physical, social and emotional)
Genius Hour: Time each week to investigate a topic worth learning more about. Your child will brainstorm, plan and execute a project of their choice! Projects can be produced by small groups within a larger group, the whole group and occasionally by an individual child. Learn more about Genius Hour.

Camp Fire Benefits
Our trained staff make the different. Staff receive ongoing training in youth development and the Thrive methodology. This helps each child learn to thrive by allowing them to explore their personal interests, make healthy choices, develop social skills and have fun. Camp Fire programs offer an environment where youth can learn through active exploration and interaction of program staff trained to observe and engage youth to support, extend and clarify learning.
