August 30, 2016 (Fort Worth, TX) – Camp Fire First Texas will present the 32nd annual An Artists’ Christmas gala and auction on November 12 at the Fort Worth Zoo. Anne and Orlando Carvalho are serving as this year’s honor chairs for the “Enchanted Evening” themed event along with Event Chair, Randi Mitchell. An Artists’ Christmas is one of the original art gala fundraisers, and is the premier art auction in North Texas. The event features local and regional artists’ work that is available for purchase via silent auction.

The local art community has generously supported this event over its long history by donating works so that the auction proceeds will support Camp Fire programs. Since 1984, An Artists’ Christmas has contributed more than $3.8 million to support Camp Fire programs, helping youth in North Texas find their spark, lift their voice and discover who they are.

This year more than 170 pieces were submitted for the juried exhibition.  Of those, 83 will be featured at An Artists’ Christmas, with mediums ranging from photography, oil, glass, metal, bronze and ceramics. All of the artists’ work will be featured on Camp Fire’s Facebook page for pre-bidding, or a ‘buy now’ option, beginning September 16.

Guests can also digitally preview the event artwork at a social event, Bingo, Brew and View. The social will be held October 3 at The Collective Brewing Project.

The program will conclude with a live auction that includes vacation and entertainment packages and fine art, followed by an opportunity for guests to dance the night away to live music. In addition, guests can expect special visitors from the zoo to make an appearance.

This event is open to the public. Tables and individual tickets are still available. Please call Camp Fire, 817-831-2111, or visit CampFireFW.org.
