Being part of a network provides benefits for all involved. For the corporation, the main benefit is the increase in productivity and retention of employees. For the employee, it is the opportunity to access quality child care and a variety of additional family resources. What does the Camp Fire USA liaison do?
Each network has a liaison who serves as the main contact person for businesses, employees and child care providers within the network. The liaison will be available at scheduled times to explain the network benefits, facilitate referrals, moderate discussions between network employees and child care providers, coordinate advisory boards and assist in addressing any questions or concerns.
How is Corporate Champions for Children different from the child care services of an EAP?
The Corporate Champions Network goes beyond just offering a list of child care providers. We will work one-on-one with specific child care programs that are utilized by your employees. We will mentor these programs and help them improve the quality of care they offer. We want to help families locate and utilize quality child care.
Who can participate in the network?
Immediate family members of all employees of a business within the network are eligible. Grandparents, parents and children are defined as immediate family members.
Do you provide a ratings system for child care providers?
Yes. Camp Fire USA utilizes Nationally Recognized Environmental Rating Scale instruments to identify participating child care programs.
Does Camp Fire USA endorse or recommend specific child care programs?
Camp Fire USA works with regulated child care programs and provides families with resources about quality child care. Through the network, your employees have access to resources for their child care and family needs.
How will I know my employees are benefiting from the network?
Camp Fire USA will provide quarterly updates along with employee usage statistics and feedback.
