ARLINGTON - TEACHER ASSISTANTS NEEDED: The Early Learning Center at High Point Church is now interviewing applicants for our 1 & 2 year old classes.

Duties include: Assisting lead teachers with classroom management & activity implementation, caring for and nurturing children in a loving & positive manner, providing a variety of fun & educational activities for the children, relieving staff for daily lunch breaks, helping maintain cleanliness of classrooms & facility, assisting administrative staff as needed, etc.

Employees must present documentation reflecting the following requirements: 1 or more years of experience in a TX licensed child care facility; current CPR/1st Aid; negative TB test; Tarrant County Childcare Worker’s Permit; cleared FBI Fingerprint check; minimum of 15 CURRENT (within the past 12 months) child development/other training (clock hours). Uniforms provided for staff upon cleared background check & document verification.

Trinity Lutheran Children's Center has an opening for a Teacher Assistant in their infant classroom. The assistant to the lead infant teacher will help in the daily management, care, and supervision of the children in the infant classroom.  With the lead teacher, the assistant is responsible for the care of infants from six weeks to 8 months of age.  The assistant works with the lead teacher and the parents to assess the needs of the individual children.  The assistant functions as part of a team working in an atmosphere of Christian love and should have a caring and nurturing attitude toward children.  Physically, the assistant must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for diaper changing and be able to sit on the floor to play with the babies.  Previous paid infant care experience is a plus as is CPR and First Aid training. Small Miracle’s Child Care & Learning Home (located in East Fort Worth) is seeking a dynamic Director / Assistant Director committed to the early childhood profession. This position is responsible for staff support and development, support for daily program operations, and oversight of curriculum and program planning. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage multi-tasks in a fast paced early childhood environment with a high level of professionalism. Individual must be well-organized, have excellent communication skills, be upbeat and have a friendly attitude. A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field is preferred. Other requirements include a minimum of three years work experience in an early childhood setting and experience in staff supervision. Valid Driver’s License required.

We are also in need of 2 full-time and part-time Teachers to work with infant, toddler, pre-school, and school-aged children.  Science School at Museum of Nature & Science in Dallas has an opening for a part-time (T/Th) preschool teacher or teaching assistant. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. The teacher or teaching assistant is an integral part of a team who provides an educational, safe, and nurturing environment for children in preschool & kindergarten.
