Early Intervention Specialist- Specialized Skills Training (SST) |
|
Serves as a member of the Individual Family Services Plan Team for Early Childhood Intervention and provides specialized skills training (rehabilitation services) to enrolled ECI children as assigned. Delivers skills training and anticipatory guidance to family members and or other significant caregivers to ensure effective treatment and to enhance the child’s development. Promotes age appropriate development by providing intervention in natural environments to correct deficits and teach compensatory skills for deficits that directly result from medical, developmental, or other health related conditions. Creates learning environments and activities that promote the ECI child’s acquisition of skills in one or more of the following areas: physical/motor, communication, adaptive, cognitive and social/emotional. |

Texas Neighborhood Services
Center Manager
The Center Manager manages
classroom and kitchen staff and is responsible for the successful operation of
the center. Develops and
maintains employee work schedules and assignments. Plans and
conducts staff meetings. Ensures that all
required inspections and licenses are current and posted. Monitors
classroom and playground activities. Monitors enrollment of new students. May require
frequent walking, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, lifting, and climbing
stairs, balance, kneeling, crouching, and sitting for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
Must be at least
(21) twenty-one years of age.
An Associate's
Degree in applied science in child development, 6 college credit hours in
business management and two years experience in a licensed child-care facility
OR a Child Development Associate credential, 6 credit hours in business
management and 3 years experience in a licensed child-care facility. OR a
Bachelors Degree with 12 credit hours of early childhood education, 6 credit
hours in business management and two years experience in a licensed child-care
facilities.
Knowledge of
administrative and clerical procedures
Must speak
English. Bilingual highly desired
Basic computer
operations
Must have and
maintain a current driver’s license and operational automobile and automobile
liability insurance
